This interview spotlight is for all women who are seeking to inspire and motivate other women to pursue their passion. We want to hear real stories from people we can relate to and learn from. Hope you will be inspired, encouraged and motivated by what they will be sharing. This week we caught up with Precious Muza.

Hie Precious, Can you tell us a little about yourself?

Where do I even begin-there is too much to say. In a nutshell, I am a wife to one special handsome somebody, I’m an academic, I also blog at and most recently I ventured into radio. I am always learning and evolving. ANCORA IMPARO that’s my mantra. I love my family, I love laughing and I love Jesus!

How did you come to know Jesus Christ and can you share your Christian journey with us?

I got baptised many years ago but I would say my relationship with Christ started blossoming when I came face to face with hurt and disappointment a few years ago. I realised that I wasn’t in control of my life and through hurt , I learnt to lean on Jesus. Knowing that Jesus was my anchor and continues to be my anchor when storms come is elating. He never leaves us nor forsakes us. What a friend we have in Jesus!!

What is your life work or what are you currently doing?

I am currently a radio presenter. I am also an editor in the news and current affairs department. In the not so distant future I want to publish a book and venture into motivational speaking…we will see what God has in store going forward.

What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about LOVE- everything we do flows from the heart so at the very core I am passionate about LOVE. I am a flawed sinner that needs a heart like Jesus.

What is a day in your life look like/Can you give us a glimpse into your daily life?

I often have conversations with God, I work, I read, I laugh, I love, I make mistakes, I learn, I fall, I get up, I try, I fail, I succeed. That is one difficult question to answer because days are so different.

How do you organise your day? Can you give us a glimpse into your daily life?

I enjoy nature so I often spend some time admiring what God created. I feel he speaks to all of us through nature, that gives me joy. I love sunsets, they make me smile. My husband is the cherry on top.

What are some practical bits of advice you can offer concerning a woman’s day to day life?

Put God first and don’t be so hard on yourself. Women deal with so many challenges and expectations. We can’t do it all. follow your own path and try to be your best while you are at it. Be the very best version of you and hold your head up high. SMILE.

What role does prayer have in your life?

Prayer gives me strength.

Can you share some key lessons that God has taught you or that God is teaching you in this season of your life?

God is teaching me that I have never been in control of my life, he is. He is also teaching me that victory usually comes after you have tasted defeat.

You are married right? Tell me about it. How did you meet your spouse?

I think I would need to write a book about this one.

What are some ways a wife can maintain a great relationship with her husband?

I don’t have all the secrets to a successful marriage but Jesus does so my advice is spend more time with God and he will reveal his master plan for your marriage to you.

What is the most important thing a wife can do to bless her husband and build her marriage?

The most important thing is for her to put God in the middle of her marriage. He is the mediator, he is the adviser, he is the restorer, he is the healer.

What are the best things a woman can do to care for her body? Her mind? Her Spirit?

I would say I am passionate about this one. Look good, feel good and your mind and spirit will adjust accordingly. Your mind and spirit are always in tandem with how you look at yourself in the mirror.

What are some ways that the Lord has given you triumph in the midst of life’s challenges?

Challenges will come. When they do come remember it’s only for a season and God is always with you. When you feel like giving up, give hope one more chance, it will go a long way because if you live without hope, you have stopped living.

What advice would you give a young woman who desires to go deeper in her relationship with Jesus Christ?

I would simply say..Do it and Do it now!!

How can a woman live her life with a greater degree of intentionality?

Get a journal, write down your aspirations and dreams and never stop pursuing them nomatter how bleak the future looks. Let God guide you!

What is the best thing a woman can do in the midst of suffering?

Have a prayer partner, you do not have to suffer alone. Also learn to pray with your spouse, it makes a huge difference.

What advice would you give your younger self?

My younger self looked at life through rose tinted windows. I was all over the place and I had a zest for life. Looking back I would say continue to have a zest for life but life isn’t as rosy as you see it. It takes a lot of work to succeed, it takes a lot of hardwork to get the good things in life. I would also tell myself to calm down and choose friends that build and help you grow as a christian.

What is your significant life bible verse?

Romans 8:31 – What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Who inspires you and why?

Nick Vujicic Inspires me, he was born without arms and legs but he used his disability to enable him. He says if you can’t get a miracle in your life, be the MIRACLE.

Do you have any books or sermons that you recommend other young women to listen to?

I highly recommend the book LIFE WITHOUT LIMITS by Nick Vujicic.

Where can we find you online?
