A Special Thank You.
This website would not have been possible if it wasn’t for the many women who write articles, reply to interview questions, contribute their time and wisdom in so many ways. This webiste is not all my work and l do not wish to take credit for it all. I want to to say thank you to every single woman who has taken time to write for Women Set Apart and contribute to this ministry in whatever way. I see you. I appreciate you. I love you. God will bless you and reward you for all the work that you put through to keep this ministry going. I pray that this ministry continues to grow and that you continue to be a part of it. Special shout out to our Women Set Apart community, thank you for taking the time to read these posts. You are special. You are a woman set apart. You were born for a purpose. Keep your head high. Keep Shining and most importantly keep your eyes focused on Jesus.
I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless l live; yet not l, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which l now live in the flesh l live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
I believe that everyone is born with a purpose and for a purpose. I have always had a passion for working with women especially young women. Encouraging them, inspiring them and most importantly sharing the word of God with them. In 2013, I created Women Set Apart as a personal blog, a small hobby, a way to share and document the lessons that God was teaching me in that season of my life. Since then, it has become something more, its become a supportive community for women around the world to connect, pray and inspire each other.
A little about me…
l believe we have been called to surrender our lives and be separate from this world. Knowing that it is no longer us that live but Christ that lives in us (Galatians 2:20), knowing that this life is not our own and therefore seeking to glorify God daily. Romans 12:2 tells us that we are not to be conformed to this world. We are Women Set Apart for a special purpose and that is to reflect Jesus Christ in our lives every day.
I WANT MY LIFE TO COUNT.
And do not be conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
My name is Miriam Tereck-Chidongo , recently married to one handsome man (That’s a story for another day) . I was born in Zimbabwe and migrated to the United Kingdom with my family over a decade ago. I am a web designer/graphic designer by day over at www.mimzzadesigns.com and a blogger by night. I started this website as a way to encourage women to actively pursue a relationship with Jesus Christ. I want to inspire young women to make Jesus Christ their first love. To make Him their first and best priority every single day of their lives. My aim is to encourage women to be all God wants them in every aspect of their lives, so that they can reflect God’s character to those around them, spreading that inspiration to others. My vision for this website is to encourage, inspire, teach and mentor young women to walk, talk and live the Christian life as Women Set Apart for a time such as this, daily developing and growing in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
One of the aims of this blog is to instill in every young women the importance of devotion and bible study. As well as to encourage women to be intentional in pursuing a relationship with Jesus Christ and making Him the most important part of their life.
Women of Firm principle and decided character are needed, women who believe that we are indeed living in the last days, and that we have the last solemn message of warning to be given to the world. They should feel that they are engaged in an important work in spreading the rays of light which Heaven has shed upon them. When the love of God and His truth is an abiding principle, they will not be diverted from their labors in His cause by the temptation of lucrative situations and attractive prospects. They will preserve their integrity at any cost to themselves. These are the ones who will correctly represent the religion of Christ, whose words will be fitly spoken, like apples of gold in pictures of silver. Such persons can in many ways do a precious work for God. He calls upon them to go out into the harvest field, and
